Let the Black Crosses Fade (Gnarly Root Queen Spectral Remix)

from Overwhelming Waves/Let the Black Crosses Fade (Split EP) by AKASHIC RECORDS

about

Originally Released on Idiosyncratic netlabel. Fraz deWaard wrote: "...The first one is by Jeff Gburek, who recorded this piece as it happens not too far from Vital's HQ, in Germany's Kleve Nur Nicht Nicht studios. For this he used electric guitars, shortwave radio, ebow, oscillators and voice. It's a remixed version of something that has been released by Digitalis Industries. It's a great piece of humming sounds, soft spoken text and the crackle of short wave. A rather subdued piece, minimal, but forever changing it's course, shape and color. A delight to hear from this already remarkable composer."
