about

my magic mountain appears in the social distance suddenly, a pilgrimage via sound and concentration to an interior plane, emerging through another social choreography, in the times of a new viral narrative. imaginary inner asylum accessible by internal immigration. while we retreat into our sanctuaries, homes, our sanatorium, seeking balance, isolation, chilling out or planning new life strategies, the meaning of collaboration, working together by whatever means we have at our disposal, took on a new meaning when Christian Vasseur invited me to share files for a collaboration for a compilation to be called COVID. I had no idea that trying to record a few 3 minute tracks would explode into a 16 track album of solo improvisations on acoustic guitar. these are uncut. the only edits are the tracks deleted that I didn't like at all. cover art by Karolina Ossowska
