This could easily have been entitled Book of Voice Volume 2 since it was recorded on 2016 and judging from background noise probably at the flat in Wilda. Keep Night Company is a poem by David Meltzer (who I had the pleasure to speak and study with in San Francisco in the late 80's) recited with the backing voices of a looper pedal. Poems, dream recitations, improvised verbal runs and sonic embellishments using granular synthesis software to augment and invoke a questioning of the nature of the machine while relfecting on the voice-box, the human voice as a machine, the poem as WCW once out, a machine made of words.
