Welcome to the laboratory - far-out and far-reaching - stratospheric down to folk. I hear many influences and inferences and intellects (Darkstar, Marc Ribot, Syd, on and on) but the originality of the collaborative listening/playing between Gburek and Kaufmann is palpable. The radio is always broadcasting and they keep picking apart the fabric but never lose the thread. Really astonishing work.
