Konin, wind, ventilator, hail inside, 2018

about

Last week I arrived in muggy weather and a blackening sky as I dragged my gear to the concert venue in the peak of the old water tower near the train station (now used by Epicentrum Kultury), entering the door just as drops of rain began to fall. Up the spiral staircase I went and by the time I arrived at the top floor, which resembled a kind of space capsule, I barely had enough time to ask my hosts for a glass of water before the hurricane swept in through a small vent, spitting hail stones and trailing water down the wall. -- JG
