Making statement into various microphones about the subject of ambition. A few weeks ago I was playing some concerts in Berlin and had occasion to met with my old friend Diego Agullo, who is presently writing a book about ambition, with a special view to ambition and the work of art and the artist as ambitionist. After a very interesting discussion of 45 minutes, he asked if he could conduct a video interview. I thought there was no way I could enter the subject again quite as freshly and didn't like the feeling of the objectifying lens framing my flesh. I said I would record my reflections when they occurred to me. Two moments in Berlin, on on walk in the park, another before the piano. December, 2016
