Dub Linnh Castle Park

from Eirelans by AKASHIC RECORDS

/

about

Between the Dublin Castle and the more-than-amazing Chester Beatty Museum (sounds from inside there coming soon to this channel) there lies a enclosed garden with herbs and flowers from around the world and a lawn inlaid with inter-twining stone paths designed to resemble the serpents that Ireland does not have. This park has an extremely fine, dry acoustic, not unlike concert hall (and open air theater takes place there on select days) and one can hear conversations from 300 meters away, clear as bells, were there not so much cross-talk) but the open sky above permits the gulls and raven and crows to croon with a peculiar resonance you can hear in this recording. It's like a bowl that collects sounds from the entire city. Relax and enjoy.
