about

Late at night on the second evening I and Nacho play alone and speak, me in my broken Spanish mangled with Italian... He plays one of the peyote songs on violin and I improvise on an old guitar with 4 strings. Other sounds added in the remix made in 2004 for whatever reasons seemed apropos of the moment. This whole album was in fact a live remix done a year after the trip. It was recorded onto reel to reel and was played in the lobby before some of the performances of Djalma Primordial Science. That's why you hear the tape being abruptly turned off at times when I digitized them in 2004 shortly before moving to Europe. Again, not my photo. Just something I found on the internet that looks like the violins I met there.
