Track 1: Following the declaration of a successful landing of the Philae probe on Comet 67P, the Rossetta project, managed by the European Space Agency, published a sound file derived from various spectra of wavefront data. This made the rounds as 'the voice of the comet'. I felt the call to create a reply. Although I have not yet been guaranteed that the ESA will attempt to translate my message into cometary language, I was pleased that they put my message into candidacy, including it on the ESA's soundcloud playlist "Cool Audio Art Inspired by Rosetta". Simultaneously supported by Celestina Space and Nathalie Battus 1, the word gets round. Many thanks to these people/beings who feel through the sound. You are rare and precious to me.

Track 2: "Entlarvung" was conceived in 2005 & premiered as an multi-channel (4 or more) installation in Darmstadt, 2006 and then again in Amsterdam in 2007 at a venue called Marsi Pani, where it functioned as part of a performance by Djalma Primordial Science. A series of small speakers created a forest of indeterminately interwoven waveforms rising and falling into silence. There was considerable consternation among the jury in Darmstadt, many of whom walked in during one of the more silent sections and exited thinking perhaps something was amiss. It owes much to Xenakis structurally and while it's unfashionable to admit a work's derivations, perhaps there's more humility in letting the roots dangle. This is a two-track compress, a new realization with 6 sound sources, not based upon the holdings in the Radius library in Chicago.
